After nine years working for large corporations, Kevin Forde formed Scantech Software Ltd in 1997 and initially provided services to large blue-chip corporations. The focus of the company has shifted away from mini-computer projects towards industry-standard platforms, development tools and databases. The aim is to harness the software engineering skills developed implementing large systems to provide high quality solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.

Pippa Forde formed Rycia Associates and has provided book-keeping, payroll and office management to a variety of companies over the last eighteen years.

Scantech Business Solutions was formed in 2002 when Scantech Software Ltd and Rycia Associates merged. The new organisation enables us to offer a comprehensive business support package to small and medium-sized businesses. We enable businesses to outsource vital but non-core activities giving them the benefit of experience and skill that they may find difficult to maintain in-house.
